"In the Beginning...In the End"

A prototype experiment space that will be used to test and explore social relations, environmental futures, architecture and interior design solutions, public spaces, etc. for the purpose to learn and better the community that it is set in. Make evident that not all experiment spaces will be the same and each will be different based on the community it is set in or the intention. “To un-plastic relationships.” The site of the  Ohio Savings Bank and Trust located in Akron, will focus on silence in the future. This hypothetical thinking comes from the idea of the world becoming too loud. The necessity of building, constructing, manufacturing, discussing, transportation, creating and other things that are becoming increasingly “loud” to accelerate future inventions. Even though this is a positive development, the sound becomes overwhelming. Imagining that there is a world wide decision to abruptly diminish the level of sound that is produced by all these factors to quiet the collective back to an organized manner.

Inspired by the reading of Influx and Efflux, Writing up with Walt Whitman, I found his poetry to be the exact reason for designing our site. “Judge not as the judge judges but as the sun falling round a helpless thing.” -Walt Whitman.
