"Unveiled"

IDEAL Exhibition & Headquarters

Our studio project for Florence Studio requested us to design a place of exhibition, discussion, debate over the question of Italian design, the culture that surrounds it, and its relationship to art culture. As a new initiative of Le Murate Art District, we were assigned to renovate and transform Caffè Letterario and a portion of the ground level of Le Murate complex, which gives access Piazza Delle Murate in the Santa Croce Neighborhood, into a proposed Italian Design and Arts Lab (IDeAL) as an active and complimentary extension to the mission of the Le Murate Art District. Our space was to be inspired by an Italian designer, my designer of choice was Nanda Vigo

The narrator of the story becomes light. Each space is “unveiled” and meant to be interpreted with time. Guided by the past voices in order to inspire the new waves of light.
